Work completed.
Invoice missing.
A monitor visit or other contracted event happened, but no corresponding invoice can be found.
Founding study reviews
A clear view of what your clinical study earned, what was invoiced, and what was paid. With the records behind every finding.
One study. A defined scope. A hands-on review.
Study A
Fictional study data. Separately, $6,000 is received but not yet allocated. These are not customer results.
A complete financial story
A budget tells you what a site should earn. Activity tells you what happened. Invoices and payments tell you what followed. The review brings those records together.
A monitor visit or other contracted event happened, but no corresponding invoice can be found.
An updated payment schedule took effect, while subsequent activity was invoiced at the previous rate.
Money arrived, but the records don’t yet explain which invoice or activity it covers.
Follow one finding
See how a completed monitor visit becomes a question for the finance team. Each step explains what is known and what needs review.
This example uses fictional records. A finding still needs the site’s review before any billing action.
The approved budget provides a rate for a monitor visit.
A calendar record provides evidence that the event occurred.
The supplied invoice records do not contain the corresponding charge.
Start with one study
For research sites with a study approaching financial closeout or a set of records that still needs reconciling.
One study. One site. A defined review period.
Scope, source availability, and timing are confirmed before engagement. No guaranteed recovery amount.
Discuss the reconciliation problem, the available records, and what a useful result would look like.
We reconcile an authorized package of exports, using Loom and manual preparation where needed. Your team reviews the contractual assumptions.
Get the financial summary, a discrepancy register, and a review session. Target delivery is ten business days after the complete package is accepted and work begins.
Built and delivered by the founder
Loom connects clinical activity and study finances through founder-delivered reviews. These first reviews are hands-on: we agree on the question, trace the records, and work through the findings together.
Founder, Loom
Before we begin
The agreed study budget and amendments, records of completed activity, invoices, and payment or remittance records. We review the file inventory together before confirming scope.
The initial review uses approved exports. It does not require a live connection to your EDC, accounting system, or other institutional systems.
We agree on the authorized data package, transfer method, access, and retention before you share records. Please do not submit patient information or study documents through a marketing inquiry.
Loom is in development. The study review is a founder-delivered service supported by the existing software, with manual preparation and human review where needed.
No. Findings may need clarification, may already be resolved elsewhere, or may not be collectible. We distinguish possible billing gaps, outstanding receivables, unapplied cash, and unresolved evidence. Your team decides the next action.
Let’s start with a conversation
Tell us what your team is trying to reconcile. We’ll discuss the records, the scope, and whether a review fits.
